Demon World's Order (魔界の摂理 Makai no Setsuri?) is the one hundred-and-eighty-third chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
In the past, a young Balam Shichiro's mother scolded him for taking a little lizard out of an off-limits place. He narrates that since he was young, he was interested in all living beings because of how different they were compared to himself, and constantly observing them fueled his desire to deepen his knowledge, even though it got him in trouble with his folks.
One day, Shichiro decided that the best way to observe some creatures was to look at them up close and personal, so he snuck back out to the field that was off-limits due to being home to giant birds. While searching, he got nabbed by a giant bird and brought to its nest. He did his best to hide from the beast until night fell, and he grew hungry. When he noticed the bird's eggs, he thought about eating them and moved over to them, but it enraged the bird as it approached him from behind. At that moment, though, Shichiro realized how beautiful life was.
It turns out, Shichiro was recounting his story to Iruma, taking off his mask and showing his scarred face revealing that the bird gave it to him. He was thankfully rescued by his parents and realized afterward that they were angrier at the fact that he put his own life in danger rather than disobey their orders. He also saw how beautiful the bird was protecting its eggs and how life is very precious, especially since, in the Demon World, it can be easily lost, which is why he wanted to share his story with Iruma so he could understand better.
After he finishes, Iruma tells Shichiro that after spending so much time with everyone and learning how the demons follow their desires by living and doing what they want, he sees life as beautiful. As a result, he believes demons are beautiful and feels the same way Shichiro does, having been moved by his story. Shichiro is rather pleased to hear this, but he still scolds Iruma for his fearlessness and carefreeness as he plays around with his feet while thinking about what Alice and Kalego told him regarding past events. He then says to Iruma that they should interact with other beings without forgetting their original intentions, so for him to live with the demons, they must mutually understand each other, to which Iruma agrees. With that, Iruma asks Shichiro what he wants to know about him, and after pondering, Shichiro asks Iruma when his birthday is, to which Iruma reveals it is October 4th.
Almost immediately, Shichiro notifies Opera, who informs Sullivan of Iruma's birthday since the current day is October 25th!
