No Fight If I'm Just Kicking Ass (一蹴されればケンカは起きず Isshū sa Rereba Kenka wa Okizu?) is the two hundred-and-twenty-ninth chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
As Iruma reacts to the popping sound (from the previous chapter), Chima says it sounded like one of the team's balloons popped. Iruma gets surprised by this since the exam just started a while ago. Chima uses this as an excuse to get physically closer to Iruma. Chima claims that they need to increase their defences. Iruma buys it and suggests they all hold hands, but Garson refuses, as he is a bit of an introvert. Iruma accepts his decision saying staying too close will be an invasion of his personal space. He also backs away from Chima (much to her displeasure). Iruma then tells Garson to let him know if he needs any help, only for Garson to say Iruma is scaring him.
Iruma gets shocked by this comment. As Garson tries to keep his distance from him, Iruma asks why he is so scared of him. Garson explains that all the freshmen refer to him as the "Top Score Killer", as he has Ameri (topper from two years ago), Alice (last year's topper), and Chima (this year's top scorer), all wrapped around his finger. He has also earned the nickname "Demon Swooner Iruma" since the first years think Iruma has a "harem". Iruma tries to deny this rumour, but Garson still keeps his distance, fearing that he will get sucked into Iruma's "harem" because he considers himself weak.
An annoyed Chima tells Garson that she doesn't care if he doesn't work together because she considers herself more than enough to defend the team. Suddenly they hear a footstep, prompting them all to hide. It is revealed that the sound came from Shiida, who was walking around. Iruma decides to hide away and keep an eye on her, as he still doesn't know much about her. Off to the teacher's side, Marbas asks Atori about Shiida's abilities since they are both in charge of the Abnormal Class's practicals, and they seem to go way back. Atori thinks and replies that he has never won an argument with Shiida. Not because she is good at arguing, but every time they are about to fight, she always overwhelms him with just one sentence: I'll kick you.
As if written in fate, Shiida suddenly kicks the wall behind which Team Iruma was hiding, completely demolishing it. Iruma summons his bow in preparation, but Shiida grabs it and tells him he drew it too slow before kicking it away. She then gets behind Chima and grabs her. She tells her she is a monster who loves hearts and if she can eat Chima's.
As Chima prepared herself, for the worst, to her sudden surprise, Shiida backed off and tells her that she would do it one more time. Chima begins to think that Shiida is just toying with her to demonstrate the difference in power between the two, which causes her to start losing her nerve a bit. However, Iruma appears beside her and again summons the bow. He aims several arrows at Shiida while saying that she can't stop him. Shiida tells him to bring it on, though she is confident he will miss it.
