Culture And Education (教養と教育 Kyōyō to Kyōiku?) is the two hundred-and-thirty-ninth chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
As in the previous chapter, the four students call forth their familiars; Marianne's Scaled Shark, Zeze's Shine Peacock, Uzu's Golem, and Silvia's Chomping Lion. All the familiars communicate with Kamui via his Bloodline Magic. Marianne is left stunned by Kamui's ability to command other students' familiars, but Kamui instructs everyone to proceed with the operation.
As Momonoki mocks Kamui about the team he just slapped together, Momonoki unleashes a blast of lighting magic at Kamui, but Uzu's Golem constructs an Earth Wall to block it. Momonoki then uses magic called Razor Wind, which gets blocked by the Shine Peacock's Sound Wave. Kamui tells Momonoki that the army he "slapped together," as she previously put it, is not a sign of desperation but an application of what he has learned from his training. As it turns out, Mister Hat's training for Kamui involved him being put in a cage, too, albeit with books about various creatures. The prerequisite of learning the ultimate summoning technique that would allow him to command other's familiars was memorizing the diverse types of beasts and their characteristics. He succeeded in the end (though Mister Hat told him to think of it as memorizing the profiles of his favourite women), with Hat saying that Kamui would be able to "unite all beings under his command."
In the present, Kamui tells Momonoki that he can deflect any attack, so she decides to test that claim by unleashing every magic she knows at once. As it turns out, Momonoki's Bloodline Magic is called Master of All Trades, which allows her to learn any magic and become skilled in using them, though the strength of the magic is proportional to her mana. Momonoki tells Kamui that he's foolish to think he can beat someone like her, but she would still like to see him try to "entertain" her for a whole minute. Kamui still accepts her challenge.
Back with Alice and Eito, the latter admits Alice is resisting very hard against him without using his Bloodline Magic, still relying on his fire magic. At this point, it seems that Alice can only defend himself, prompting Eito to ask why Alice won't use his Bloodline Magic because he may lose if he doesn't. Eito's question causes Alice to think back to his time with Iruma.
