Sweet Spot (好きあり Suki Ari?) is the two hundred-and-forty-fourth chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
Marianne tells Kamui that she will never forget his bravery, which leaves him speechless (which Marianne mistakes as him being so much in pain that he can't talk). Seeing that Marianne wants to face off against her, Momonoki asks what makes her think she stands a chance. Marianne states that it is because she is one of the Chosen 26. She then seems to cast some Illusion Magic on Momonoki, which disorients her. She remains confident that she won't be affected by whatever Marianne conjures up but is proven wrong when she sees Kalego injured and lying on the ground begging for her help.
It turns out that Marianne's bloodline magic is called "Name Sweeper," which allows her to create specific illusions that suit her circumstances. In this instance, she wants Momonoki to stop attacking, making her think Kamui is actually Kalego. Though incredibly flustered by her feelings, she desperately tries to remind herself that she's looking at an illusion, but "Kalego" grabs her leg and says he won't let her go (while Kamui hopes to get a shot of her underwear). Momonoki tries to shake him off and regain her focus as Marianne hopes this will buy the others enough time (though she does get mad when she sees Kamui cling to Momonoki so much, with the emerging bloodlust reminding her that she is in the middle of a fight).
Momonoki regains her composure long enough to cast magic on herself to soothe her mind, and she reminds herself that the real Kalego would never allow anyone to see him so vulnerable. Unfortunately, she takes the opportunity to take pictures of his vulnerability, admitting she has been deceived and taken out of the fight for now. Still, she remains confident that with Marianne focusing all her attention on her, the juniors won't have enough magic to stop the device.
To her surprise, she sees that there are now four people: two of them are Sabnock Silvia and Uzu, and the other two are two Zepar Zeze, with Silvia and Uzu screaming that they love him. Momonoki wonders if this is another illusion as she sees that the four can fill up the device with magic. Zeze asks the camera to keep its eyes on him as he wants it to capture his "grand maneuver."
