Demonic Backup (悪魔的助太刀 Akuma-teki Sukedachi?) is the two hundred-and-forty-sixth chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
Taking the stage, Kerori asks Elizabetta to watch her back as one of Kerori's juniors, Gebatee Yan, uses his Bloodline Magic, "Hardness," to coat his body in hard minerals to act as a shield. He asks Kerori if she doesn't need to hide, and she answers no, instead wanting to perform "onstage." As she attacks Momonoki from the front with her ice, her other junior, Valefar Chacha, uses his Bloodline Magic, "Changing Skin," to give him the properties of a beast. Momonoki repels him, and Chacha jumps back while Kerori reminds him not to be too hasty or his balloon will pop. However, Chacha yells that he will never take orders from a woman, only to immediately take orders from Elizabetta, which he says is because he was responding to her cheers. This was because Elizabetta used her Bloodline Magic, "Full Love Gauge," at 80% to boost his morale and help her succeed.
Momonoki tries to attack again but finds herself overrun by a tide of bubbles courtesy of Elizabetta's juniors, twins Parpar Shin and Juju, whose Bloodline Magic, "Lost Mermaid," allows them to dissolve into bubbles and control them by singing. Momonoki easily disperses the bubbles with a blast of wind magic but then gets attacked by Kerori's familiars, causing her to back up. Zeze and Uzu are amazed that everyone can get Momonoki to stop and buy them enough time to fill the gauge.
However, everyone's hopes are dashed when Buer Blushenko arrives and casts "Heal" on Momonoki to restore her energy because he doesn't like seeing a 1 vs. 11 battle. With Momonoki's power restored, she unleashes a mighty lightning blast called "Volgard," the impact being strong enough to blow Kerori's familiars and Chacha away and also pop Marianne and Zeze's balloons. Momonoki moves in on Uzu, who thinks they are done for, but suddenly, Sabnock Sabro arrives and uses his Bloodline Magic to generate a weapon to repel Momonoki as he proudly declares that he has come at the frontlines.
