Clara Squad Captain and Azz Commander (クララ兵隊長とアズ指揮官 Kurara Heitaichō to Azu Shikikan?, or Captain Clara and Commander Azz in the official English volume) is the thirty-first chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
Iruma is traversing through the invisible maze to Kirio's confusion. It wasn't the metal from his choker, since he destroyed it so how could he find the gaps in between? Going back to the beginning of Kirio's attack on the school, Iruma and his friends were both separate by an invisible barrier. Alice is upset that he's not with Iruma, and Clara believes Kirio is keeping him from her. Alice corrected it couldn't have been their senpai since his magic is very weak, especially to spread it across the entire school. Iruma, feeling concerned for Kirio's safety, asks Alice and Clara if they will help him through this maze to find their senpai. They agree to help him, and using paper and a pencil from Clara's pockets, Alice draws a map of the third-year tower from his memory. To locate the barriers so Iruma can find Kirio faster, Clara produces magic paper soldiers for Alice to feed his magic. When the soldiers hit a wall, Alice can identify blocked-off areas and communicate them to Iruma for him to avoid.
Kalego tasks all teachers to find Kirio as the prime suspect of the sudden barriers. Meanwhile, Eiko is enjoying the show by the Magical Beast Forest Battler in the courtyard, but the crowd gets out of hand. Eiko backs up into a tower, causing a sign to fall and threaten to crush her. Ameri swoops in and saves her, then shouts at the gathered students to uproar quietly. Ameri knows that the "surprise event" is only a cover-up and notices that Iruma is not in the courtyard. Iruma finally arrives at the entrance to Kirio's secret room.
