To the Future We Found (見つけた未来へ Mitsuketa Mirai e?) is the three hundred-and-sixty-third chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
Iruma has Alice and Clara try the Many-Eared carrot, and much like him, they call it incredibly delicious, with Alice stating it could be served at any luxury restaurant. Iruma tells the two of them that he believes the carrot will be a powerful weapon to benefit the Many Ears, giving the three of them an idea to capitalize on its deliciousness.
In the main tent, Munmu acknowledges that he was too cruel to Nova but won't take back what he said because he knows he would have to say something to them at some point. He thinks back to when Nova was younger and showed him a flag he drew for their race and how when he grows up, he will spread the name of the Many Ears far and wide and change everyone's perspective of them as weak demons and Munmu ended up encouraging him, not being able to crush his dreams at the time. Now, in the present, Munmu says he's acting for their race's survival and will carry it out no matter how much it makes Nova resent him. Just then, he gets pulled out of his thoughts by someone at the tent's entrance, and when Munmu goes to see who it is, he is shocked to see Amuryllis of the Thirteen Crowns standing before him asking for carrots.
Almost immediately, the Many Ears start accommodating Amuryllis as she explains she was told by Alice that there are delicious carrots here. Iruma presents one to her but Munmu claims it isn't fit to be eaten by a demon like Amuryllis, though he cannot stop her from eating one roasted. After she eats it, she says something to David as Munmu tries to apologize for feeding Amuryllis something "foul," but to his complete surprise, she tells him she wants to buy their carrots and serve them at her family's dining table, offering a buying price higher than what other carrots go for, all of which leaves the Many Ears completely floored.
David says they could eventually buy the carrots at wholesale at the Asmodeus Family's partnered restaurants, with Amuryllis suggesting they start with restaurant War Cry, which Iruma calls one of the few restaurants in the Demon World that has six stars, and a place where Demon Kings pass their throne to their successor, not to mention a place that was said to have been where the Thirteen Dinner first originated. Iruma gushes over how much he wants to try War Cry, with David revealing he used to work there, causing Iruma to idolize him. He then tells the Many Ears that if they partner with such a famous restaurant, the carrot will become extremely famous, which surprises everyone because they never shared it with anyone else, and Amuryllis asks for a thousand of them.
Nova comes in, however, and confesses he can only manage five a day, and right now, he's exhausted. Munmu is surprised to learn Nova grew the carrot as he says if everyone pitches in, they can make a ton, and then they can sell their produce to Amuryllis, and with that steady supply of money, the Many Ears won't have become servants to high-ranking demons. Nova tells Munmu that he has found their people's future, and with a new flag in his hands, Nova announces that they will make the Many Ears farm right here. His words bring Munmu to tears of joy.
