My Delight (ç§ã®å€§å¥œç© Watashi no Dai KÅbutsu?) is the three hundred-and-seventy-second chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
Opera sits next to Iruma and gives him his mug of warm milk before asking if something happened during Scala. Iruma recounts his encounter with Demon Border Patrol and tells Opera that while he had fun with the exam, Iruma has realized once again that there are demons intertwined with his situation and the choices he makes, and now he is unsure if his actions at the time were the right thing to do. He is worried that if the Demon Border Patrol investigates his background and discovers he is human, then he does not know what will happen to all of the people he has come to know and love, and it will only cause strife for Opera, all of which scares him a lot. When Iruma looks at Opera, though, they are beaming with delight at him. Opera calms themself down and asks Iruma if he remembers when he first came to the Demon World, and they had warm milk together.
When Opera first met Iruma, their first impression of him was that if he pushed him, he would fall apart because he was that fragile. They didn't know what Sullivan was thinking when he chose to adopt him, especially since Opera didn't know how to care for a human. Regardless, they decided to follow Sullivan's orders and care for Iruma, such as warning him not to touch anything in the kitchen without permission. When he left for school, Opera worried Iruma wouldn't make it back safely, and though he did, they still felt he was feeble.
One day, Opera heard an explosion in the kitchen and learned Iruma was trying to make warm milk. At first, Opera scolded him for going into the kitchen without permission, but when they started cleaning up, they saw there were two mugs. Iruma explains that he wanted to repay Opera for taking care of him and let them know how much he appreciates them, and in that moment, Iruma stopped being just a human in Opera's mind. Opera tells Iruma that because they've spent so much time together, Opera considers him family and is willing to endure whatever obstacles come forth because they have faith in their strength, and above all, they'll be on Iruma's side no matter what, so he should feel free to bother them as much as possible because it makes them very happy. Iruma tearfully accepts Opera's wishes.
In the morning, Mephisto arrived much earlier than expected because he wanted to give Iruma his results as soon as possible. Alice, Clara, Lied, Soi, Goemon, and Jazz appear behind Iruma and Opera, asking about the results, and after building up the suspension, Mephisto announces that Iruma is Rank 5.5, which leaves everyone confused.
Meanwhile, Sullivan is in the dining room, waiting for breakfast and wondering where everyone is.
