"This weapon is not suitable for demons" ― Barbatos Bachiko
Incompatible Weapon For Demons (悪魔に向かない武器 Akuma ni Mukanai Buki?, or A Weapon Unfit For a Demon in the official English volume) is the ninety-ninth chapter of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun.
Summary[]
Bachiko is waiting for Iruma when she is approached by Sullivan. The chair demon eagerly greets the flustered Bachiko and thanks her for answering to being summoned to the school. He then begins gushing about how he hopes she carrys on well with Iruma's special training, leaving her stunned as she forgot. Shortly after, Iruma receives a message informing him of the tasks for the day.
In the valley, Bachiko confesses that she was enjoying having Iruma act as her servant so much that she completely forgot about doing any actual training. The admission causes Iruma to see his classmates were right in thinking he was just completing errands for Bachiko and that none of it was related towards his training. She goes on to say that, because she is from the main branch of Robin's family, she has an ability similar to his and demonstrates her Hundred Bullseye attack; an evolved version of Robin's attack that also makes her one of three people able to hit their targets one hundred percent of the time. Because of this, Bachiko has been sought out by many demons wishing to learn archery but majority of them have not lasted due to lacking patience and concentration.
Bachiko warns Iruma that a skilled archer has the ability to completely turn the tide in battle but learning it could potentially raise him above Daleth rank. However, she believes that he will not be able to learn how to be a proper archer because it seems something impossible for most demons but finds Iruma staring at her with a look full of admiration from watching her Hundred Bullseye technique. Seeing how hopeful Iruma is to learn such a skill, Bachiko agrees to teach him and that the first step will be to craft a bow for Iruma.
Bachiko takes Iruma to a club rumored to be famous for helping craft weapons and special items. However, Iruma is rendered speechless when he sees that she has brought him to the Magical Apparatus Battler.
Bachiko and Iruma stand together outside the doors of the Magical Battler's club room. Bachiko brags how the club is known for making powerful weapons and that Iruma will need their help in creating his bow. Iruma then reveals to Bachiko that he is currently an active member of the club, shocking and embarrassing Bachiko in the process. As her fit ends, Bachiko is surprised to hear that Iruma is part of the club given that it usually has an odd group of members. Iruma explains that the club had been used as storage for other clubs, but Iruma and the others have done their best to try to get the club back to its former glory. Entering the club room, Iruma and Bachiko are quickly left speechless upon seeing the creepy clutter overtaking the area. Schenell presents himself and welcomes Iruma back to the club
