Contents
Appearance[]
Chima appears relatively young because of her stature, but she is only a few years younger than Kerori. Before enrolling in Babyls, she wore her hair down with long, straight bangs and a plain dress. However, she began to style her hair in two long twin tails and trimmed her bangs after enrolling. She has large, sparkling eyes described as "lakes" by Iruma.
Personality[]
Like much of her family, Chima initially seems emotionless and quiet. She does not openly express much emotion, especially not her support for Kuromu. However, this slowly changes over time. She is shown to care deeply for her sister, even (unintentionally) putting herself in harm's way to cheer her on. After enrolling in Babyls, she became more confident and ambitious, partially out of a desire to earn Iruma's attention.
History[]
Synopsis[]
Abilities[]
Ice Surface - A Bloodline Magic; Chima can adjust the water temperature to lower temperature and create ice for offense or defense, particularly in cooling, even in the air. This is at her disadvantage when she is easily triggered by emotion with overuse that results in a fever that requires specific medical attention or someone with the same ability to lower the side effects.
Relationships[]
Crocell Kerori[]
Kerori is Chima's older sister, who she seems to look up to ever since Kerori found her passion in being an Akudol. She loves her sister greatly and feels great guilt when she loses the Cavalry Battle with Gyari due to her stepping out on the field to cheer her on, though Kerori told her that she wasn't upset with her, and the two make up. She later voiced her desire to go to the same school as her, which she cheers on.
Iruma Suzuki[]
Chima first meets Iruma during the Akudol Games. Though they didn't interact much before the games started, Iruma ended up saving Chima from getting hurt during the Cavalry Battle, and as he took her to get looked at and noticed her sad look at her sister. Iruma reassuringly told Chima that she had a lot on her mind and they could talk after they both had calmed down. After the two sisters talk, Iruma tries to cheer up a still-crying Chima when he notices her eyes and comments on how beautiful they are, which causes her to develop a crush on Iruma.
Following the games, Chima decides to enroll in Babyls, and after she does, she quickly greets him and tells him that she gave the freshman representative speech just like he did, and declares that she won't lose to Ameri and hopes to take the number one spot in his heart, which he accepts despite not knowing what she was really talking about.
Azazel Ameri[]
When Ameri first saw Chima on stage, she approached her to congratulate her for giving an excellent opening speech and thanked her for everything during the Akudol Games, and admitted she was surprised to see her at the school. When Chima looks at her in silence, Ameri asks Chima if she is surprised to see her too, but Chima tells her she had actually been hoping to say something to her: a declaration that she will not lose.
At first, Ameri believes she is referring to running for Student Council President and starts to cheer her on, but when Iruma appears, she sees Chima immediately run up to him to talk to him and tells him that she plans on seizing "the number one spot," and she reacts in shock when she realizes what she meant meaning that Chima is aware of Ameri feelings for Iruma. Since then, she would do anything to stop Chima, even prevent her from joining Iruma's battler.

Trivia[]
- Although it was initially assumed that Chima is a year younger than her older sister Kerori, it is revealed in the SuKiMa part of volume 26 that Chima is, in fact, around 11 or 12 years old. Her mom reveals that she is planning to enroll Chima in Babyls in 2 or 3 years but decided to let her enroll earlier because Chima convinced her mother to let her go to be closer to Iruma if she could get the highest score on the entrance exam.
