Summary[]

The first day of the Harvest brings back memories for Iruma and Lied is faced with a great challenge.

Plot[]

As the teachers see that Iruma is being targeted by other students, Balam suspects a trap and thinks Iruma is prepared for an ambush. However, to the total surprise of everyone watching, Iruma has actually prepared a meal from the food he has gathered.

In a flashback taking place right after the tournament started, Iruma and Lied are seen first entering the jungle of the fourth block and being amazed at the size of the area and plants around them. After Lied stops Iruma from touching a flower that may or may not be dangerous, he suspects that Iruma has never had to survive on his own a day in his life since Iruma is believed to have had a cushioned life thanks to Sullivan and now feels he will have to look out for his teammate.

Iruma, on the other hand, is taking in his surroundings and feels a sense of familiarity. As Lied tries to figure out what they should do first, Balam informs Dali and Suzy that the students shouldn't overhunt on the first day. Even though collecting as many points as possible is the goal of the Harvest, Balam states that the more important thing is best managing time. With 6666 minutes, or four and a half days, worth of time before them, Balam states that the students should take time to get use to the new environment and pace themselves comfortably since it is all too common that most students collapse from exhaustion and not having enough to eat since they wanted to turn in everything they collected. Dali sees that Balam is stating that patience and adaptation is a huge advantage to the students who are able to figure this out.

Back in the jungle, Iruma explains to a confused Lied that they need to become familiar with their surroundings and use the items around them like everyday objects such as rope, chairs, and pillows. Because of the many years Iruma had lived on his own before his soul being sold to Sullivan, Iruma feels those survival instincts returning. With Iruma in survival mode, Lied becomes captivated by his survival high and happily follows Iruma's lead of getting to know the area by playing around for a few hours which eventually led to the point of Iruma cooking stew.

As Iruma and Lied begin to eat, they are spotted by others who are confused as to why the two are eating instead of hunting ingredients. Dali excitedly comments how the point hunters are turned away from Iruma and Lied at seeing them eating what appears to be all of their points. As they eat, Lied also notices the thieves leaving. He now realizes that not making themselves a target will avoid them any potential fights and keep up their strength better than most others. However, Lied still decides to hide a collection of ingredients so they don't fall too far behind. Lied then comments how they are possibly the only two students enjoying the tournament and the only thing that could make their current situation better would be if there were girls present like the devi-mixer party he had held.

At the devi-mixer, the boys reveal they have different reasons for staying; Iruma does not want Lied's efforts to go unnoticed, Sabnock feels that the demon king should know their subjects, and Jazz would like to know girls outside of the Misfit Class. However, Lied had ulterior motives and had given the boys specific instructions that he hoped would lead all of the girls to him. Unfortunately, his instructions were followed and only made Sabnock, Iruma, and Jazz more popular and Lied was left with only Dosanko's attention. While Lied felt the mixer was a total failure, Iruma says otherwise and tells him the party was a big success thanks to Lied hosting. With his spirits raised, Lied declares that he and Iruma will have even more fun by winning the Harvest Festival.

A sudden rustling of the bushes catches their attention. They wonder if the thieves from earlier have returned but quickly spot Clara in her costume. Elizabetta appears right after which makes Lied suspect the two are after their points. When he tries to warn Iruma, he finds he is a split second too late as Clara has ensnared Iruma and drags him away. Before Lied can attempt to help, he is soon the focus of Elizabetta's attention. However, he tries to keep himself from submitting to her charm but continues to struggle when he realizes Elizabetta is using her Full Love Gauge to try to get him to hand over his ingredients. Lied manages to stay strong for a while until Elizabetta unzips his jacket and finds his stash of ingredients.

Lied complains how he did not stand a chance against Elizabetta's special ability but learns that she didn't use it on him. When he suspects that she's naturally that charming, she confesses that she doesn't use her Love Gauge on boys she likes. Hearing this, Lied suspects that she truly likes him and quickly hands over a second secret stash he hid. He then invites her to eat some of the food and to hear why she likes him. Elizabetta agrees and then crushes Lied when she states she likes him in the same manner she likes all the boys in their class. Since she had been born with the power to make anyone fall in love with her, Elizabetta saw the beauty of being able to love someone freely which, in her eyes, makes every man a potential Prince Charming as her greatest ambition is to live happily ever after with a man she can truly love. Having told Raim about this, Elizabetta was taught every seduction trick known in order to better her chances of finding real love but also shaping her into the purest yet most devilish woman possible.

Having gotten all of his ingredients, Elizabetta leaves a heart broken Lied.

Meanwhile, Iruma is sitting opposite an unusually quiet Clara and wonders if she is angry at him since they have not been able to play together lately. Just as he is attempting to apologize, Clara suddenly pulls him inside her costume.
