Season One of the Mairimashita! Iruma-kun anime series first aired from October 5, 2019 to March 7, 2020, running for 23 episodes. It was initially announced in the 10th issue of the 2019 Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine, which released on February 21.[1]
The season adapts the first 5 volumes of the manga of the same name, depicting Iruma’s sudden and tumultuous enrollment into Babyls Demon School, his first rank promotion exam with his new class, his time with an upperclassman as a member of the Magical Apparatus Battler, and his unexpected debut as an akudol alongside a few of his classmates. The adaptation both expands on a significant number of scenes from the manga and features brand new original content.
New episodes debuted every Saturday, first airing on Japanese network NHK Educational TV, then releasing on international streaming services Crunchyroll and VRV shortly afterwards. The airing of Episode 23 was followed by an announcement of a second season.
