Master Bachiko (師匠バチコ) is the second episode of the third season and forty-sixth episode of the anime series Mairimashita! Iruma-kun.

Summary[]

Lied and Iruma decide to train under different mentors to better hone their skills. Each student of the Misfit Class find themselves under their tutor's odd and somewhat questionable method of teaching to better understand themselves and their abilities.

Plot[]

As Professor Robin keeps student's from entering a room, Bachiko continues to have Iruma and Lied dress in maid costumes and having them do various tasks. Lied finds himself close to his breaking point but Iruma encourages Lied to continue on, making Lied believe that Iruma is used to wearing frilly dresses and doing chores. Bachiko ceases their conversation by stating she wants them to prepare some sweets for her to enjoy and presents the Fruity Ground Dragon for them to defeat. After an off-screen fight, Iruma and Lied have managed to defeat the dragon and get its strawberries. They quickly return to the school and apologize for taking so long only to be left speechless when they see that Bachiko decided not to wait for them and is now eating a meat dinner. She then dismisses the two and allows them to head home.

Over the next few days, Bachiko continues to heavily criticize Iruma and Lied's efforts. One day, Iruma is washing Bachiko's laundry when Lied angrily expresses how everything she has made them do has done nothing to help them advance their ranks. He then states that he's going to ask Robin to tutor him since the kind professor most likely will not treat Lied the same way his relative does. Lied asks Iruma to join him but is surprised when Iruma turns him down. Iruma explains that he is used to life being unfair and that Bachiko possibly has a hidden plan that she has not revealed to them yet. Lied tries to get Iruma to see that this way of thinking may not be a good thing but accepts Iruma's decision to stay with Bachiko while he returns to Robin.

Iruma continues with the laundry until Bachiko appears. She admits that she's surprised Iruma has stuck it out so long as everyone else she has taught had given up early on. She then points out that she's noticed Iruma's willingness and drive to help others but then insults him by calling him a moron, leaving him stunned. He stays in this manner throughout the rest of the day as he thinks over Bachiko's behavior and words to him. Eventually, he is able to figure out that he's feeling great frustration and cannot sleep because of it. He decides to call Alice and learns his friend, as well as Sabnock, are still in the middle of their training under Balam. Even though Asmodeus admits that the task before him and Sabnock seems impossible, he is filled with a new sense of determination. Hearing how motivated his friend has become, Iruma wishes him luck and ends the call. Iruma then receives a text message from Clara and sees how her training is progressing. Seeing how everyone is working so hard, Iruma decides to work harder so that Bachiko cannot call him a moron again. The following day, Iruma has several things prepared before Bachiko arrives and declares to her that he will be the most perfect errand boy.

After Kalego reminds the exhausted Misfit Class that they must reach Daleth rank in order to keep the Royal One class, the class gathers together to discuss how their training is going. Goemon and Agares are the first ones asked to tell of their training due to currently being dripping wet. Goemon explains how he and Agares have been instructed to strengthen their bloodline magic. He continues on by telling them Lady Vepar is aware that their bloodline magic does appear more advanced than most others but that it is only on the surface. She states that she hopes to make their bloodline magic stronger by submerging them in water that will neutralize their abilities and make them want to strengthen their magic. The results of the training have taken a toll on the two as Goemon points out that Agares has been sleeping more than usual when they are not training.

Lied tells the truth of his own training under Robin. He starts by telling them how Robin instructed Lied to bring in some of his favorite things. Lied brought all of his games and became confused when Robin declared that they would beat them all in six days in order to improve his concentration. Robin himself joins Lied in playing the games and the two begin to play games non-stopped. While Robin shows no signs of fatigue, Lied starts to feel the effects after several games and hours go by. Soon enough, Lied realizes that he and Robin have been playing all night and he is expected to continue with his classes.

Asmodeus and Sabnock reveal that they have not been home since their training began and will continue their training non-stop until they manage to land a single hit on Balam; a task that has proven impossible thus far and has left them roughed up from receiving Balam's attacks. At this time, Iruma notices that Jazz and Allocer are not present. Lied tells them that he had messaged Jazz earlier and that the return messages at first appeared like Jazz and Allocer were having fun but then became more and more puzzling.

Goemon asks Clara and Elizabetta about their training. The girls right away strike poses that Clara says are meant for the boys to keep their eyes on them. Under Professor Raim, the girls are told that they must always keep their target's attention on them and the best method in which to do this is to pose as sexily as possible.

When Kerori is spotted heavily shivering, Kamui gives details of the training they've undergone. In order for them to better understand wild beasts, they've been locked inside a cage with wild creatures every day of their training. Kerori and Kamui both found the task horribly filthy to go through, although Kamui confesses he felt it more unfair that he was in a separate cage from Kerori.

With all other stories out of the way, Asmodeus asks Iruma about his training. Iruma begins telling the others about everything that Bachiko has put him through, but his fellow classmates have come to believe that Iruma is just doing everyday household chores. Despite this, they all agree on how much they would like to rest and return home. Unfortunately, all of their tutors call for them to get back to their training. Even though they are worn out, the students admit that they do not wish for the Misfit Class to be beaten by rational adults. Seeing how serious everyone is about their training, Iruma silently promises to give his training all that he has to give.

Elsewhere, Bachiko is waiting for Iruma when she is approached by Sullivan. The chair demon eagerly greets the nervous Bachiko and thanks her for answering to being summoned to the school. He then begins gushing about how well she appears to get along with Iruma which leaves her stunned. Shortly after, Iruma receives a message informing him of the tasks for the day. The last of which includes creating a weapon for him to use.

In the valley, Bachiko confesses that she was enjoying having Iruma act as her servant so much that she completely forgot about doing any actual training. The admission causes Iruma to see his classmates were right in thinking he was just completing errands for Bachiko and that none of it was related towards his training. She goes on to say that, because she is from the main branch of Robin's family, she has an ability similar to his and demonstrates her Hundred Bullseye attack; an evolved version of Robin's attack that also makes her one of three people able to hit their targets one hundred percent of the time. Because of this, Bachiko has been sought out by many demons wishing to learn archery but majority of them have not lasted due to lacking patience and concentration.

Bachiko warns Iruma that a skilled archer has the ability to completely turn the tide in battle but learning it could potentially raise him above Daleth rank. However, she believes that he will not be able to learn how to be a proper archer because it seems something impossible for most demons but finds Iruma staring at her with a look full of admiration from watching her Hundred Bullseye technique. Seeing how hopeful Iruma is to learn such a skill, Bachiko agrees to teach him and that the first step will be to craft a bow for Iruma.

Bachiko takes Iruma to a club rumored to be famous for helping craft weapons and special items. However, Iruma is rendered speechless when he sees that she has brought him to the Magical Apparatus Battler.
