Elsewhere, Opera holds back the Panther Rat's tail, from attacking their group. Opera has Ameri take the others to a safe location, and once she does, she returns to help Opera who was in a pinch. Just as the two ready themselves to go on the offense against the beast, they notice Clara hanging from one of its tails. On the other side of the park, Caim manages to tame a large flock of demon birds and uses them as a decoy against the Blue Mountain monster. Thanks to this, Shax is able to steal the hearing in its left ear. All of this was a part of Jazz's plan and then Gaap deflects one of the monster's attacks, allowing Jazz to reach the monster's left ear. Once the monster's hearing is restored, Jazz uses the Ear piercing whistle that his older brother Rock. Using it causes the monster to faint, however, it was not incapacitated, prompting Kalego to appear and save them. After this, the group takes a picture of the scene.

At the Emergency Center, with the park patrons all gathered there and in a panic, Crocell changes into her Dem-dol persona, Kuromu. She then puts on a spectacular performance that bedazzles the crowd to forget their fears and anxiety about the Panther Rat rampaging outside. Outside of the emergency center, the battle between Opera and Ameri vs the Panther Rat continues. During it, Ameri protects Opera with a chant-less spell and they inform Ameri of the monster's weak point. After rescuing Clara, Opera stands by and watches the fight between Ameri continues and she uses her blood-line magic against it. While all goes well for Ameri, the monster sprays poison gas from its tails, however, Ameri is easily able to overcome it and defeat the monster. After the battle, Opera offers Ameri to work under them, but Ameri politely refuses to claim she's going to work for her father once she graduates. However, after having an epiphany about being able to live with Iruma in his household, she backtracks on the offer claiming she'll consider it. When Opera asks why Clara was there she answers that she was going to give them a weapon, and so Opera requests a secret one.

Meanwhile, Iruma rescues a small group of children trapped underneath a pile of rubble; elsewhere Sabro and Azz face off against the Carmine Dragon.
