Synopsis[]

As Iruma continues having fun with his classmates, he begins to wonder if he should really be allowed to stay in the netherworld.

Summary[]

Iruma has adapted to the demon world and has even grown to love it. Iruma walks with Clara and Asmodeus to school as usual when Clara and Alice begin to race each other to school. In their first period class, they cover transformation magic. After classes, Iruma goes to reading manga to Ameri. After finishing the volume, Ameri concludes that everyone has secrets and remembers Irumi from the concert. Ameri tries to cover up her hard analyzing of Iruma as being concerned for him, prodding to see if anything is troubling him. She is gradually tying two and two together that Iruma is also Irumi.

When returning home, Iruma takes a hot bath and has dinner with his new family. He realizes that he finally fits in. The next day Iruma, is pensive, Azz and Clara try to come up with a plan to cheer him up by making him a meal. Clara gives Azz a cookbook of her mother's cooking and it has terms he has never heard of. Asmodeus is too prideful to ask Clara what they mean, so he tries deciphering it on his own. He ultimately fails and the two start throwing banters at each other. Clara mocks Asmodeus' noble attitude. They end up fuming at each other and agree to a contest to each make a dish for Iruma to let him decide who made the better dish.

Clara and her family work together to make a dish full of love for Iruma, meanwhile Asmodeus makes the finest meals he knows. Asmodeus wonders what strategy Clara might be using, and figures whatever he is doing won't be enough for Iruma. One of Asmodeus' servants recommend that he creates a dish using fish for Iruma, revealing Asmodeus has a fear of fish.

Alice and Clara, both stay up all night making dishes for Iruma. When Iruma tries both, he finds that the food tastes even better together. They end up agreeing with Iruma once they try it and settle for a draw. Iruma finally has two friends, his first two friends ever, and he couldn't be happier.

When Lord Sullivan goes to awaken Iruma the next day, Iruma-- or someone that looks similar to him-- awakes grouchily and grumbles about Sullivan being too loud first thing in the morning. It appears something may have happened to change Iruma.

Trivia[]

  • The anime makes the scene of Momonoki teaching transformation magic more elaborate than in the manga, where the scene was Iruma performing the spell through his ring in class.
